Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

Our school has started implementing the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework. This evidence-based approach is designed to foster a positive school culture by teaching and reinforcing desirable behaviours, ultimately improving both student behaviour and learning outcomes.

The PBL program focuses on three key goals:

  1. Enhancing Student Behaviour and Learning Outcomes: By analysing and improving student behaviour, we aim to create an environment that maximises every student’s potential.
  2. Evidence-Based Support: Our staff will be trained in the latest, research-backed strategies to ensure the best possible support for all students.
  3. Consistency Across the School: PBL promotes consistent school-wide practices that ensure all students are held to the same high expectations, no matter the classroom or situation.

At the heart of PBL is the clear setting of behavioural expectations and the active reinforcement of positive actions. By fostering a supportive and proactive approach, we aim to create a school environment where students feel encouraged, respected, and motivated to achieve their best.

We believe that PBL will help build a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all of our students. We look forward to seeing the positive changes this will bring to our school community.

Stayed tuned for the focus of the week, this will be sent out through Weekly Happenings and on Social Media platforms.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to ensure the success of our students.
