Choirs

We are having 3 choirs at Jamboree this year. Any students in the correct year levels are welcome to join. I do ask that they commit for the year rather than come and go so we can develop our sound together over the year.

Year 4-6 (Senior) Choir is on Tuesday mornings @ 8am in the Music Room. We started this week but it isn’t too late to join! Here is the link to register. There is a cost of $20 for the year. You will be invoiced in a few weeks if you sign up. Singers will need to wear a Music Shirt (available at the uniform shop) and black long pants for performances.

Year 3 Choir will be on Friday mornings @ 8am in the Music Room. We started this week but it isn’t too late to join! Here is the link to register. There is a cost of $15 for the year. You will be invoiced in a few weeks if you sign up. Singers will need to wear their checked school uniform for performances.

Year 2 Choir will begin after the Easter Holidays. More information will come closer to the time. Rehearsals will be at lunch time on Fridays. No need to sign up yet.

We hope you find a good practise schedule quickly that will work for your family. Remember, whether you are a beginner or a continuing student, if you are struggling or worried about anything please make contact with your teacher sooner rather than later.

Here is a list of our ensemble rehearsals in 2025. If you don’t hear differently then the rehearsal is on! We will always do our best to give the most notice possible of any cancellations via email and Facebook.

A bit of Music Fun

Here are the clips that Year 5 & 6 students have watched recently in Music. We often only watch part of the clip in class due to time constraints and the learners are always asking to watch the rest. I tell them to ask their parents to show them from the newsletter. Why not watch them as a family and share the fun!
