After an extended period of bereavement leave, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our wonderful school community for the incredibly warm and thoughtful welcome back. Your kindness and support have meant alot to me.

What a vibrant and joyful fortnight it’s been – from the Winter Concert and Junior Athletics Day to the Ditto Show, PBL Magic Show, Jinda Jam and more. It’s been a whirlwind of energy, talent and togetherness, and I couldn’t have asked for a more uplifting return.

As Term 2 draws to a close today, I’d like to wish all of our learners and families a safe, restful and well-deserved winter break. Enjoy this special time with loved ones, we look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for another exciting term.

PBL Term 2 Celebration

To celebrate the end of Term 2, our students were treated to something truly special—a magical performance by the amazing Magician DRACE!

DRACE wowed our learners with fun tricks, surprising illusions, and lots of laughter. Everyone was especially excited to meet his adorable rabbits, Chelsea and Chad, who were the stars of the show!

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the positive behaviour and great effort our students have shown throughout the term. A big thank you to DRACE for putting on such an entertaining show, and a huge well done to all our students—you made us proud!

As we wrap up another fantastic term, we are excited to celebrate the many students who have reached special Gotcha milestones through our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) program!

Throughout the term, students have been earning Gotchas for consistently demonstrating our school expectations - Safe, Respectful, Responsible Learners. Reaching 25, 50, or even 100 Gotchas is no small feat, and it’s been wonderful to see so many learners proudly visiting Kooka’s Shop to receive their prizes. Kooka’s Shop has been a fun and meaningful way to acknowledge the positive choices our students make every day.

A big congratulations to all the learners who reached a milestone this term, we’re so proud of your efforts and the example you set for others.

A huge thank you to our dedicated school leaders who have done an outstanding job running Kooka’s Shop each week. With friendly smiles and helpful attitudes, they’ve taken charge of organising, managing, and supporting their peers throughout the term. Their leadership and commitment have been truly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing even more Gotchas earned next term, keep up the great work, everyone!
